I was at the new Morinville Cultural Centre on Saturday night for the premiere of Show of Force, a wrestling company here in Edmonton. They needed some photography of the event to use for future promotion. I didn’t really know what to expect, since I have never shot Wrestling before, but lighting is lighting, and sports is timing, so I felt that I would be able to handle it without too much difficulty. I set up a perimeter triangle of lights, and also had an on camera flash for the fill. The lighting worked outs pretty well, and combined with the high calibre of the show itself, provided some really great moments to capture. Here ar some of my favorites from the night.
